Job Description
Axon Moore is pleased to be supporting a valued client in the manufacturing sector, part of a successful global group, in recruiting a Senior Management Accountant for an 8-month maternity cover contract. This high-profile role offers board-level exposure and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution during a key period.We are seeking an immediately available or short-notice candidate (qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE) to ensure a smooth handover and provide continuity for the finance function.Key Responsibilities include;- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).- Variance analysis and production of US walkdowns for plan and forecast.- Presentation of financial reports at monthly business reviews.- Support for budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.- Development of KPIs and dashboards to aid decision-making.- Maintenance of internal controls and compliance with accounting standards.- Liaison with auditors and support for internal/external audits.- Continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting efficiency.- Assistance with system upgrades or ERP transitions where required.To be considered, you should have the following skills and experience;- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE with 5+ years’ experience in management accounting.- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capability.- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.- Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.For more information, please apply now for immediate consideration.
