Management Accountant | Warrington | Hybrid | £45,000 to £52,500 + Excellent Benefits & Bonus
Axon Moore is delighted to be partnering with a large, well-established business in Warrington to recruit a qualified Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing finance team in a varied role with exposure to senior stakeholders, process improvement initiatives, and genuine career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts and group reporting
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Producing insightful overhead reporting and supporting key stakeholders with financial performance
- Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close
- Maintaining robust financial controls and identifying process improvements
- Supporting Finance Business Partners and cost centre managers with commercial insight
- Assisting with treasury, tax and audit requirements
- Supporting business change projects, systems improvements and finance transformation initiatives
- Mentoring junior team members and providing technical support where required
The Candidate
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with 1-3 years' post-qualified experience
- Strong management accounting, reporting and forecasting experience
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicating with stakeholders across the business
- Previous team leadership or mentoring experience is desirable but not essential
- Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- Genuine opportunities for progression within a growing finance function
