Axon Moore are supporting a growing manufacturing business based in North Lincolnshire to recruit a qualified Accountant to join their team. The role will report directly to the Financial Controller and will be a mixture of management accounts preparation and finance business partnering across various functions to help make key business decisions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Own the monthly management accounts cycle from end to end, including journals, accruals, and variance analysis
  • Build and maintain weekly and monthly performance reporting models, translating operational activity into clear financial insight for senior stakeholders
  • Finance business partner to the operations leadership team to help support better decision making
  • Take ownership of balance sheet integrity, delivering monthly reconciliations and ensuring inventory valuations are accurate and well-controlled
  • Support the annual budget and rolling forecast processes, partnering with operational leads to build credible, well-evidenced plans
  • Develop a thorough understanding of product costing and how operational decisions flow through to the P&L
  • Contribute to audit preparation and support continuous improvement across finance processes and controls
  • Ad hoc support across the team

Essential:

  • Qualified accountant - ACCA or CIMA
  • Proven experience in management accounts, month end preparation and reporting
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector, preferably in a similar role
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
