We are looking for an experienced H S Manager to take ownership of health, safety, and compliance across a fast-paced warehouse and office environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being visible on-site, building relationships, challenging where needed, and working collaboratively with teams to create a positive safety culture.
The Role
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of Health Safety across a large fulfilment warehouse and office environments. You will ensure compliance, improve safety standards, support managers, and provide practical solutions to reduce risk and improve workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Health Safety policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards
- Complete risk assessments and implement effective control measures
- Lead incident investigations and corrective actions
- Manage COSHH, PPE, manual handling, and safe systems of work
- Deliver H S training, inductions, and safety briefings
- Lead H S meetings and report on key trends and performance
- Monitor H S KPIs and identify areas for improvement
