I am currently working with a well-established and growing business in Castleford to recruit an experienced Credit Controller into a standalone role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy and wants to take full ownership of the credit control function within a supportive and stable environment.
The Role
- Full ownership of the end-to-end credit control process
- Proactively chasing outstanding debt via phone and email
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Allocating cash and reconciling accounts
- Setting up new customer accounts and assessing credit risk
- Managing credit limits and payment terms
- Resolving invoice queries in a timely manner
- Producing aged debt reports and updates for management
About You
- Proven experience in a standalone or senior credit control role
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
