Job Description Axon Moore are partnering with a PE-backed SME based in Chorley to recruit a newly created Financial Accountant position. Lead the monthly review of management accounts and prepare the monthly Board reporting pack for review by the Financial Controller. Support the preparation of statutory and year-end accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards. Manage and coordinate the annual audit process. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes to FRS 102 and assess their impact on the business, ensuring appropriate implementation of any changes. Support overseas financial reporting . Assist with acquisition accounting, including supporting M&A activity, due diligence and post-acquisition integration. Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, process streamlining and greater efficiency across the finance function. Support cash and treasury management. Act as a finance business partner to multiple internal departments. Provide support on ad hoc projects.
