Job Description
Our client is looking to appoint an experienced and proactive Warehouse Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of their busy warehouse operation.

This is a hands-on leadership position at the heart of the business, where the successful candidate will lead a small warehouse team while ensuring stock is managed accurately, customer orders are fulfilled efficiently, and the warehouse remains a safe and productive environment. Working closely with teams across the wider business, the Warehouse Manager will play a key role in ensuring operational requirements are met and that any stock, order or fulfilment issues are resolved quickly.
/n Key Responsibilities

- Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, including goods-in, storage, stock control, picking and dispatch.
/n
- Lead, manage and develop a small warehouse team, maintaining high standards of performance and morale.
/n
- Oversee the accurate receipt, storage, movement and dispatch of inventory.
/n
- Work closely with other departments to resolve discrepancies, order amendments, stock queries and customer requirements.
/n
- Support the accurate picking and dispatch of high-value components and customer orders, including shop and Click & Collect orders.
/n
- Monitor and improve key warehouse KPIs, including pick accuracy, dispatch times and stock integrity.
/n
- Conduct regular stock counts and support preparation for the annual stock audit.
/n
- Manage team holidays and staffing levels to ensure appropriate cover during peak periods.
/n
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve warehouse processes and operational efficiency.
/n
- Take responsibility for Health & Safety within the warehouse.

- Proven experience managing a warehouse or similar operational environment.
/n
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
/n
- A hardworking, proactive and positive can-do attitude.
/n
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
/n
- Good time-management and organisational skills.
/n
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to react quickly to changing priorities.
/n
- Good knowledge of warehouse Health & Safety.
/n
- A valid FLT licence.
/n
- The ability to work effectively with teams across the wider business.
/n
- A Basic DBS certificate, or willingness to undergo a DBS check.
/n
