Axon Moore are delighted to be exclusively supporting a rapidly growing SME in Bradford with the recruitment of a Finance Business Partner - FP&A to join their team. As Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis. You will provide meaningful insights that help shape strategic decisions, working closely with operational and commercial stakeholders across the organisation.

Duties:

  • Support the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and periodic reforecasts
  • Perform deep-dive analysis into profitability drivers and identify value-add opportunities
  • Produce clear, insightful KPI reporting and commentary for senior leaders
  • Partner with operational and commercial teams to understand performance drivers and provide actionable recommendations
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial and commercial analysis to support decision-making
  • Analyse operational and financial data to highlight trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
  • Support system and process improvement initiatives within FP&A and the wider finance function

Requirements:

  • Newly qualified or qualified (1-2 years PQE) ACCA, ACA or CIMA
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Commercially minded with the ability to communicate complex insights simply
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems
  • SME experience beneficial
