An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and technically strong Group Financial Controller to join a fast growing, award winning business entering its next phase of expansion. Working within a dynamic multi entity group, you will take ownership of financial control, statutory reporting, group consolidations, audit management, compliance, and the development of robust financial processes and controls. This is a hands-on leadership role offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders and Board level decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the month-end close and group consolidation process
- Oversee statutory accounts, audit, tax, and regulatory compliance
- Manage intercompany accounting and balance sheet controls
- Support the setup and integration of new entities as the group grows
- Drive process improvements, automation, and financial controls
- Provide leadership and technical support to the wider finance team
About You:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Proven experience in a Group Financial Controller or senior finance role
- Strong group consolidation and technical accounting expertise
- Experience operating across multiple entities
- Able to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach
- Construction, property, or related sector experience would be advantageous
