Axon Moore is currently partnered with an established product-led business in Warrington who are going through a really exciting period of change within their marketing function. They’re building out the team and are looking for a B2B & International Marketing Manager to take ownership of their B2B marketing activity across the UK, whilst also helping shape how campaigns and activity are adapted across international markets. This is a role where you’ll genuinely have the opportunity to make it your own. There are processes in place, but they’re looking for someone who will bring fresh ideas, challenge how things are currently done and take real ownership of their marketing stream.
What will you be doing?
- You’ll take the lead on the B2B marketing strategy, working closely with Sales, Product, Commercial and Technical teams to understand what the business needs and turn this into effective marketing activity.
- You’ll be involved across the full marketing lifecycle, including:
- Owning the B2B marketing plan, budget and campaign calendar
- Developing campaigns for wholesalers, distributors, contractors, installers and channel partners
- Supporting product launches and go-to-market activity
- Creating propositions, messaging and sales enablement materials
- Working with international teams to develop campaigns that can be adapted across different markets
- Managing external agencies across PR, content, digital and campaigns
- Taking briefs from internal teams and turning them into clear, commercially focused campaigns
- Managing agency relationships, budgets, deadlines and performance
- Working closely with Sales and Product to make sure marketing is commercially relevant
- Supporting and developing the International Marketing Coordinator/Executive
You’ll have plenty of autonomy, so we’re looking for someone who is happy to take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do. You’ll have the opportunity to look at what’s currently in place, identify where things could be improved and put your own stamp on the function.
What are they looking for?
You’ll ideally have a strong background in B2B marketing, particularly within a product, channel, distribution or manufacturing-led environment. Experience within sectors such as construction, building products, manufacturing, engineering, electrical, industrial, wholesale or distribution would be particularly relevant, but we’re open to other product-led B2B backgrounds. What is important is that you understand B2B customers and channels and have experience working with things like:
- Wholesalers, distributors, contractors or installers
- Product and proposition marketing
- Integrated marketing campaigns
- Agency management and briefing
- Go-to-market activity
- Budgets and campaign performance
- International markets or adapting campaigns across different countries
You’ll need to be hands-on, commercially minded and comfortable working across lots of different projects at once. Just as importantly, you’ll be someone who enjoys getting to know people, building relationships across the business and bringing a positive, fresh approach.
The business
This is a brilliant time to join. The marketing function is being developed and there is a real opportunity to help shape how the team operates going forward.
What's on offer?
- £35,000–£45,000 salary
- Flexibility around salary for the right person
- Monthly bonus of up to £300 based on company performance
- Hybrid working – 3 days in the Warrington office / 2 from home
- 20 days' holiday, increasing with length of service
- Office closure over Christmas, which doesn't come out of your holiday allowance
- A genuinely autonomous role where you can make your mark
If you’re looking for a role where you can take ownership, bring new ideas and have a real influence on the direction of B2B marketing, I’d love to hear from you.
