Axon Moore is delighted to be representing a leading organisation in the appointment of a Purchasing Administrator on a 3-month fixed-term contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join a busy purchasing function and make an immediate impact.
We’re looking for someone who is organised, commercially minded and confident working with data , with the ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.

The role
You’ll provide essential administrative support to the purchasing and supply chain function, helping to ensure systems, data and day-to-day processes are accurate, efficient and well organised.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support across the purchasing and supply chain function.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date systems, records and documentation.
  • Supporting data compilation, analysis and reporting.
  • Carrying out data entry, validation and cleansing activities.
  • Ensuring data integrity and accuracy across systems.
  • Supporting wider operational activities and helping the team stay on track.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and responding effectively to changing priorities.
  • Learning new systems and processes quickly.

About you
You’ll be a strong fit if you are

  • Experienced in an administrative role, ideally with

2+ years’ experience .

  • Confident working with data, numbers and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working at pace and managing competing priorities.
  • A clear and professional communicator.
  • Proactive, adaptable and willing to get stuck in.
  • Curious and keen to learn new systems and processes.
  • Interested in developing your experience within purchasing, procurement or supply chain.

Previous experience within purchasing, procurement, logistics or supply chain would be advantageous.
