We are currently working with a high-growth business that is entering an exciting period of expansion. As a result of this continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant on an initial six-month contract to provide additional support to the finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Management Accountant to join a growing business, providing hands-on support across the month-end process, management reporting and wider financial analysis. The successful candidate will play an important role in strengthening the finance function during a period of change and growth, while working closely with both finance and operational stakeholders across the business. Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting analysis.
  • Ownership of key balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
  • Supporting the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash flow information.
  • Providing meaningful variance analysis and commentary against budget and forecast.
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Working closely with operational teams to understand financial performance and drivers.
  • Providing financial insight to support commercial and operational decision-making.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting.
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc analysis and projects during a period of growth.
