Having built a strong track record in its sector, the business is now entering an exciting phase of growth, with further expansion planned. The business is looking to hire a Commercial Business Partner into a newly created role to work closely with the Commercial FD, taking ownership of the commercial and financial reporting that underpins decision-making across the group.
The role would be ideally suited to a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified accountant with at least two years' post-qualified experience, looking for a varied, hands-on commercial finance role with genuine exposure to operations and real influence over how the position develops. This is a newly created role within a business on a clear growth trajectory, offering the right candidate the opportunity to shape the position and progress alongside the company's expansion!
Key duties will include:
- Producing weekly KPI reports and cost analysis to keep sites operating within budget
- Liaising with regional and site managers on staffing levels and budgets
- Analysing weekly activity data to support utilisation targets
- Preparing performance analysis for board meetings
- Visiting sites to review staffing against demand levels
- Supporting the setup of new sites, including staff budgeting
- Preparing business cases and ad hoc investigations into site performance
The successful candidate will:
- Be CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualified experience - Essential
- Be confident reading and interpreting a P&L - Essential
- Hold a full, clean driving licence for regular site visits - Essential
- Have strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills - Essential
- Have excellent attention to detail and a proactive, flexible approach - Essential
- Have previous exposure to a multi-site or operational environment - Highly desirable
