Senior Website Designer £30,000+ salary and benefits
Are you a creative designer, skilled in the disciplines of designing exceptional and highly functional websites? If you have experience already working in a busy agency environment are looking for your next step, with more creative freedom, more responsibility and the chance to make a big impact, we should talk.
This is a full-time hybrid role, located in Manchester\’s Northern Quarter, with some work-from-home flexibility. You\’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining visually appealing and user-friendly website designs, working on client briefs and presenting your ideas to colleagues and clients. Great communication skills and being able to explain your ideas and rational to marketing and non-marketing people will give you the edge in our selection.
Part of a team including a UX and CRO specialist, developers, copywriters, marketers and HubSpot specialists, this is a highly collaborative role. We are looking for candidates who live and breath new design ideas and trends and are hungry for the chance to work with established national international brands and fast-growth investor backed businesses. Although many of our clients have their own brand standards and guidelines, most of our projects demand an ability to evolve these brands and breath new life into them whilst achieving industry-leading user interfaces and high conversion platforms.
Qualifications and Experience
- A track record designing responsive web designs
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles
- An impressive portfolio of past work
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with design software and tools (e.g., Figma and Adobe Creative Suite)
- Some familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
Bonus Skills:
Experience designing websites for HubSpot CMS is a definite plus but not essential.
Knowledge of HTML & CSS to better understand development constraints.
