Must Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Cyber Security, or a related technical field
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in cyber security or secure software engineering
- Strong practical experience with: Linux, QNX, and/or Android Embedded systems or automotive platforms
- Strong programming and scripting skills: Shell scripting, Python, C / C++
- Experience implementing or supporting: Firewalls and network security controls, Access control mechanisms, Platform or OS-level security configurations
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and secure software development lifecycles
- Experience supporting security features through implementation, integration, and testing.
Job Description:
- Work as a Cyber Security Engineer within the platform team, supporting the implementation and operation of security controls across automotive platforms and ECUs
- Implement, configure, and maintain platform-level security mechanisms, including but not limited to: Firewalls and network filtering, Access control mechanisms (DAC/MAC), Secure platform and build-system infrastructure
- Support security implementation across multiple operating systems and platforms: QNX, Linux, Android (Automotive) AUTOSAR (preferred)
- Develop, review, and maintain security-related tooling, scripts, and automation using: Shell scripting, Python, C / C++
- Support secure software development and integration activities, including: Secure OS configuration and hardening, Build and CI/CD infrastructure from a security perspective, Integration of security features into platform codebases
- Support implementation of secure boot, secure update, and key management mechanisms at platform level
- Assist with diagnostics and debugging, including secure use of debug interfaces and logs
- Support security verification and testing activities, including vulnerability assessment and issue remediation
- Work closely with cyber security architects, platform engineers, and system teams to ensure security requirements are correctly implemented
- Contribute technical input to TARA mitigation implementation, translating architectural requirements into working platform solutions
- Support issue analysis and resolution during development, integration, and test phases
- Collaborate with Tier-1 suppliers and internal stakeholders where required
