Job Title: Business Development Manager β Aerospace
Employment Type: Fulltime permanent
Location: Hybrid / Remote (UK-based) with 50% travel to clients / prospects
What Youβll Do
- Develop and execute sales strategies that meet or exceed targets
- Manage & grow a valued account portfolio, building deep relationships across Procurement, Engineering & Programmer teams
- Coordinate with engineering, operations & marketing to ensure alignment on technical solutions
- Monitor market trends & competitor activity, feeding strategic insights into the business
- Lead pipeline management, forecasting, and sales reporting in CRM
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry forums & client visits
- Mentor sales staff and foster a high-performance team environment
What Weβre Looking For
- Experience: 5+ years in aerospace or technical sales (Tier1, OEM, MRO focus)
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of aerospace systems/components / Mechanical engineering (e.g., Wings, Aerostructures, bearings, avionics, interiors)
- Tools: Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) & MS Office
- Travel: Willingness to travel 50β70% in UK & some part of Europe
Nice to Have
- Experience with Airbus, Boeing or Tier 1 suppliers
- Familiarity with UK/EU aerospace MRO and supply chains
