The Operations Data Quality Analyst plays a crucial role in monitoring and improving the quality of data entered by Operations into AXIS’s key underwriting system. The role includes helping to safeguard the integrity and accuracy of data produced by Global Markets Operations. It plays a critical part in the control framework by conducting routine data quality assessments, performing root cause analyses on anomalies, and driving improvements to reduce data error rates.
What will you do in this role?
- Conduct Data Quality reviews of data entry to ensure adherence to processes and data quality rules for the Sarbanes-Oxley audit.
- Conduct Data Quality reviews of data entry relating to issues raised by the various business areas, including trending and root cause analysis.
- Develop, recommend and monitor any corrective and preventive actions required within the data capture teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address data quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor and report on data quality metrics, trends, and performance indicators.
- Maintain documentation of data quality procedures, controls, and remediation actions.
Staff Engagement and Communication:
- Engage with internal staff members to request information, clarify details, and provide updates.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement/standardization.
You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.

- Attentive to detail and accuracy.

In this role, you will typically be required to be in the office 3 days per week.

Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.
