How does this role contribute to our collective success? You will be joining a team of Bordereaux Analysts who are tasked with the end to oversight of all delegated Risk, Premium and Claims bordereaux data within the Axis Global markets division. A significant part of the role is assuming responsibility over specific underwriting classes and support of our outsourced partners to ensure smooth throughput of delegated premium from BDX to ledger. You will support the tracking/processing and improvement in quality of all Bordereaux/Aggregation information received by Axis, ensuring that terms and conditions within the binding authority agreements are maintained and that data is handled and processed in a consistent manner providing accurate and timely management information.

You will oversee the transition and processing of bordereaux into the VIPR system via Axis’s outsourced partners. You will act as a key contact to resolve issues that prevent the processing of Bordereaux within agreed timelines. You will resolve role related queries from both internal and external stakeholders. You will assist with managing and overseeing the Bordereaux diary management system. You will ensure process and training documentation in relation to Bordereaux Management Procedures is kept up to date. You will produce suitable MI around bordereaux data and other Cover holder/Binder reporting when required for internal stakeholders. You will liaise directly with Underwriters, Brokers and Cover holders ensuring Axis’s value of courtesy is demonstrated. You will endeavor to provide accurate, complete, and appropriate data, in accordance with Axis’s Data Policy, as part of your role and responsibilities at all times.

You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.

What you need to have:

  • Ability to apply analytical experience to datasets whilst displaying a positive attitude and a proactive approach to any deficiencies or challenges encountered.
  • Prior experience of providing insurance administrative support.
  • Able to self-start own tasks and independently manage/balance workloads whilst identifying prioritizations and adapting as necessary.
  • Display interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively both face to face and over the telephone.
  • Display strong written communication skills to allow the job holder to write and respond to emails, memos, and other written correspondence.
  • Display strong customer service ethic ensuring good relationships are maintained both internally and externally.
  • Able to apply own knowledge, work independently and as part of a team.

What we prefer you to have:

  • Experience of working for organizations in the London Insurance Market.
  • Knowledge of Lloyd’s Delegated Authority business requirements and the ability to apply them into day-to-day activities is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the VIPR – Intrali system.
  • Prior experience within a bordereaux processing/operations function.

Role Factors: In this role, you will typically be required to travel to the London office for 3 days a week (current requirement which is continually evaluated and may be subject to change).
