Night Veterinary Nurse | Medivet 24 Hour Woodstock

Location: Woodstock, Oxfordshire, OX20 1JL

Salary: £27,832 per year

Hours: Average 28 hours per week

Medivet 24 Hour Woodstock is a veterinary hospital in the Oxford region, and we are looking for a Night Veterinary Nurse to join the team. This role follows a rota of 7 nights on and 14 nights off, averaging 28 hours per week. Shifts are supported by another nurse or veterinary care assistant, so you are not working alone overnight. The hospital is based near the Cotswolds with access to Oxford city centre. It is a recently refurbished site with CT scanning and digital X-ray facilities. The night service is supported by experienced branch partners and an established team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing patient care during out of hours periods
  • Monitoring and caring for inpatients overnight
  • Communicating with clients when required
  • Working as part of the overnight ECC team

What we’re looking for:

  • Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) in the UK
  • Minimum 6 months UK experience in a similar veterinary nursing role
  • Interest in emergency and critical care
  • Ability to work well in a small team setting
