We are currently recruiting for a Computing & Digital Skills Assessor to join Doncaster College on a temporary ongoing basis to provide additional learner support and assessment cover. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced assessor or digital professional with a passion for supporting learners in achieving their qualifications.
Role Details
- Temporary ongoing role
- Full-time opportunity
- Location: Doncaster College – DN1 2RF
- Pay rate: £28/hour (PAYE) or £35/hour (self-employed)
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and support learners across Computing and Digital Skills programmes
- Conduct workplace assessments, reviews and progress tracking
- Provide guidance, mentoring and constructive feedback to learners
- Maintain accurate learner records and documentation
- Ensure learners are progressing in line with qualification standards and awarding body requirements
Essential Requirements
- TAQA, A1 or CAVA Assessor qualification
- Level 3–5 qualification in Computing, Digital Skills or a related subject
- Strong industry knowledge within digital or computing disciplines
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable
- Previous experience within Further Education or apprenticeship delivery
- Teaching, coaching or mentoring experience
- Experience supporting learners on vocational qualifications
