We are seeking a passionate Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Learning Coach to join one of the UK’s leading apprenticeship training providers. This is a field-based role where you will support and develop apprentices working towards their Level 3 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning qualification, helping them succeed both practically and professionally. You will be working directly with learners in their workplaces across Manchester, combining hands-on industry knowledge with coaching and mentoring to support the next generation of skilled engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality coaching and training sessions onsite with apprentices in Manchester and surrounding areas
  • Visit learners in their workplaces to provide structured coaching and development support
  • Manage a caseload of apprentices, ensuring consistent progress towards qualification milestones
  • Plan and manage your own diary effectively to meet learner and business needs
  • Track, review, and support learner progress, ensuring timely achievement of targets
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback and maintain accurate evidence for compliance with Ofsted and funding requirements
  • Support learners throughout their apprenticeship journey from enrolment to completion

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong background in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (essential)
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role within the UK (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use (essential)
  • Experience working in the industry and/or with a training provider
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied field-based workload
  • Passion for training, coaching, and developing others

Desirable Qualifications

  • TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 Assessor qualifications
  • Understanding of government-funded training and apprenticeship frameworks
  • Previous experience delivering vocational training or coaching apprentices
