Murray Healthcare Services Ltd is looking for an experienced and dedicated Care Coordinator to join their team in Leicester.
We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in the health and social care sector who can effectively manage care staff and ensure high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a care setting
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or management role
- Experience in domiciliary care or supported living is highly desirable
- Proven experience managing a team of care staff
- Good understanding of health & social care legislation and regulatory requirements
- Experience with care planning, risk management and quality assurance
- Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively with clients, families and healthcare professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support a team of care staff
- Coordinate rotas, scheduling and resource allocation
- Develop and implement person-centred care plans
- Monitor quality of care and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Manage risks and contribute to quality assurance processes
- Work closely with clients, families and healthcare professionals
