We're looking for an experienced Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer to join a well-established further education provider in DA17 6JG.
Pay Rates:
- £22 per hour PAYE
- £27 per hour Self-Employed
Hours:
- Full-time
- Starting in late August
The Role:
You’ll be teaching 16–18-year-old students across Level 1 to Level 3 Carpentry & Joinery courses. Working alongside the Curriculum Manager, you’ll help develop and expand the department while delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that support student success.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months' experience in a similar teaching/lecturing role within the UK, teaching 16–18-year-old learners
- Proven teaching and/or relevant Carpentry & Joinery industry experience
- Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent)
- Qualified FE Teacher, or willing to work towards a teaching qualification
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for supporting learners and helping them achieve their potential
