We are currently recruiting for a Maths Lecturer to join the team at the Bromley campus of London South East Colleges on a part-time temporary ongoing basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maths Lecturer who is passionate about supporting and engaging 16 to 18-year-old learners within Further Education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to 16 to 18-year-old students
- Plan, prepare and assess learner progress
- Support students to achieve positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the wider curriculum team
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months’ experience teaching 16 to 18-year-olds in the UK in a similar role
- PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities
Contract Details:
- Part time, 24 hours per week
- Temporary ongoing position
- Immediate start
