We are recruiting on behalf of Abri Housing for an experienced Gas Operations Supervisor to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis in Bracknell.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor or manager within the gas industry to lead operational teams, ensure high standards of service delivery, and support the safe and efficient delivery of gas maintenance and installation services.

The Role

As a Gas Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the gas team, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.

You will provide leadership and support to engineers while maintaining excellent customer service and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of gas engineers and operatives.
  • Ensure all gas works are completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with current legislation and industry standards.
  • Monitor productivity, performance and quality of work.
  • Provide technical guidance and operational support to the team.
  • Carry out quality inspections and ensure high standards of workmanship.
  • Liaise with customers, contractors and internal departments to resolve operational issues.
  • Support planning and scheduling to ensure service targets are achieved.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and company procedures.
  • Produce reports and maintain accurate operational records.
  • Travel as required to support operational activities across the region.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months' experience in a Gas Operations Supervisor or similar supervisory/management role within the UK.
  • Previous experience supervising or managing operational teams.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic gas operations and relevant industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Full right to work in the UK.
