Location: Wirral Waters Campus
Pay Rate: £28 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Start Date: After the October half-term break, continuing until the end of the Autumn Term in December 2026 (exact dates TBC)
Are you an experienced plasterer with a passion for teaching and developing the next generation of skilled tradespeople? We're looking for a Plastering Lecturer to join the team at Wirral Waters Campus on a temporary cover basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging practical plastering lessons and theoretical training.
- Prepare and deliver lessons in line with the college curriculum.
- Demonstrate plastering techniques and industry best practices.
- Assess learners' practical work and monitor their progress.
- Maintain a safe and supportive workshop environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Relevant plastering qualifications and industry experience.
- Experience teaching or training plastering learners.
- Strong practical skills and the ability to demonstrate techniques effectively.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Willingness to complete satisfactory safeguarding checks and meet college requirements.
