Role

We have an opportunity for a Supervisor to join our team in Brentwood. The role involves on-site supervision of works for our clients, including residential properties and voids, ensuring health and safety compliance and adherence to instructions.

Key Tasks / Activities / Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations, liaising with residents, customers, and ensuring team productivity.
  • Ensure subcontractor works meet specifications and deadlines.
  • Address queries from residents and customers.
  • Ensure timely completion of high-quality work.
  • Specify and check voids, manage orders with housing offices.
  • Participate in company changes and training.
  • Meet client expectations and complete all paperwork accurately.
  • Handle litigation issues from housing offices.
  • Organize operatives and plan appointments.
  • Drive between sites as needed.
  • Comply with HR policies and health & safety legislation, including inspections.
  • Complete safety and method documentation, deliver toolbox talks.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe workplace, including operational offices.
  • Wear PPE and ensure safety for yourself and others.
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces as required.
  • Follow company policies, promote equal opportunities, and complete timesheets and reports.
  • Support sustainability and environmental policies.
  • Manage snagging, health & safety files, and ensure subcontractor compliance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Construction industry knowledge, CSCS, SSSTS, SMSTS certifications.
  • IT literacy, understanding of health and safety regulations, scaffold inspection, working at heights.
  • Experience in repairs and maintenance, supervisory experience on maintenance sites.
  • Full clean driving license, clean DBS.
