The Role

We currently have a great opportunity available for Fire Door Installers and Fire Stopping Installers to join our team in Bath on long-term framework contracts. This role involves working on historical and traditional buildings. The role offers £750/week, with a company van and fuel card provided.

Responsibilities

  • Installation of fire door sets
  • All aspects of fire door maintenance
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Liaise with management on a daily basis
  • Conduct fire door assessments and record findings
  • Fire stopping

About You

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry for fire door installers, or equivalent on-the-job experience
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Fire Stopping, or equivalent on-the-job experience
  • CSCS Card
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Proven experience as a Carpenter/Fire Stopping Installer
  • Experience working in social housing, health, or high street sectors
  • Strong trade background
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety on site
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Use initiative effectively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Proactive and adaptable
  • Reliable and professional
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Full UK driving license
