The Territory Manager is accountable for delivering sales, profitability, and growth targets in line with the UK business strategy through a clear Philmac sales plan. The role focuses on developing strong relationships with distributors, contractors, and installers to increase demand for the Aliaxis Philmac product portfolio and system solutions.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Accountable implementation and execution of the agreed strategic business plan within your territory, in order to exceed sales targets in-line with the overall business sales strategy.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the market sector, especially relating to market trends, opportunities, threats, and competitors’ activities.
- Develop strong and lasting relationships with key customer influencers to add value and ensure continued customer loyalty.
- Establish internal relationships and support with other departments and secure effective help where necessary.
- Assist and educate internal colleagues with sector news and industry understanding.
ABOUT YOU
- Knowledge of the key influencers within the distribution sector.
- Knowledge of Water, agricultural, domestic, retail and OEM markets preferable.
- Proven track record in value selling and negotiation in the same or similar environment.
- Proven experience in delivering new business through prospecting with new and existing customers.
- Confident to present at group gatherings to peers and customers.
- Maximise the growth potential of a designated sales territory.
- Experience of constructing robust and technically compliant product offerings.
- Full UK Driving License and able to travel as required.
