Are you an all-round marketer who thinks commercially, builds strong relationships, and enjoys owning things end to end? Join Axis as our next Channel Marketing Specialist in Luton and help shape how our brand shows up across the UK and Ireland.

Your future team

You'll join the Northern Europe marketing team, working across the full marketing mix, from campaigns and content to events and partner activity. It's a team that shares openly, learns from each other and steps in where it's needed rather than working in silos. Marketing and sales sit side by side here, and you'll be an important bridge between them. You'll also work closely with our colleagues at HQ and in EMEA marketing, so you're never short of people to bounce ideas around with. Reporting to the Manager, Marketing – Region, you'll take ownership of your own area while contributing to what the whole team is trying to achieve.

What you'll do here as Channel Marketing Specialist

This is a genuine generalist role. One day you might be writing copy or building a presentation, the next you're planning an event or shaping the digital approach for a partner campaign. What ties it together is a commercial mindset, always starting with why we're doing something and what it should deliver for the business.

  • Build and own the channel marketing plan for your part of the UK & Ireland market, working with the marketing manager, the wider team and sales to shape yearly, quarterly and monthly plans
  • Manage your budget and make recommendations on how it's best invested to get the most out of every activity
  • Develop strong relationships with our distribution and channel partners - listening to what they're trying to achieve and advising on how marketing can support it
  • Create and adapt marketing collateral, write copy, and deliver corporate and EMEA campaigns at a local level
  • Manage third-party agencies and contributors, and liaise with HQ marketing to keep everything consistent and on brand
  • Follow up on activity, evaluate results and use what you learn to sharpen what comes next

Who are you?

You're confident enough to hold your own in a room of stakeholders and lead the conversation, and self-aware enough to know what you don't know. We're looking for someone honest, humble and prestige-less, who's genuinely open to learning and comfortable asking questions. You're proactive and enjoy solving problems without being closely managed. You take ownership of your own responsibilities, but you also look up and support the team. You bring curiosity about where marketing is heading, an eye for innovation, and a good understanding of the digital landscape, including how to work with a digital team to reach the right audience. Above all, you understand the commercial side. You don't get swept up in an idea because it's exciting; you can explain what it's for, what it should achieve and how you'd optimize it. You'll recognize yourself in our values: Think Big, Always Open, Act as One.

We'd love to hear that you have:

  • A good working understanding of the marketing mix and how to apply it, from either a B2B or B2C background
  • Experience with CRM systems and email marketing platforms
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms, search engines and paid digital campaign activity
  • Copywriting skills, with excellent written English
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage several activities at once
  • Experience building relationships with external partners or agencies
  • A track record of taking a project from start to finish

We're open-minded about your degree subject and the industry you've come from. What matters more is your grasp of marketing fundamentals and your hunger to keep developing.

Travel: Some travel is part of the role - partner and distribution meetings, regional meetings and events.
