Extrusion Operator

The Opportunity/Role We are seeking an Extrusion Operator for our growing manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will ensure products are produced and packaged according to the production schedule and safety standards. Responsibilities include: Conducting yourself safely at all times. Producing products using coiler, stillage, and saw operations. Monitoring and recording product quality with micrometers, PI tapes, verniers, and documentation. Maintaining product quality by managing line operations. Reporting equipment and quality issues to supervision. Completing FLT and crane operations for product dispatch. Carrying out product changeovers, including tooling, materials, and line adjustments. Performing start-ups during changeovers. Supporting the production team during breaks to maximize machine efficiency. Shift & Pay 12-hour Panama shift pattern £36,067 per annum (including shift premium) Attendance bonus: £300 per quarter Requirements Experience in manufacturing, preferably extrusion. Technical understanding is advantageous. Ability to prioritize tasks. Self-discipline and high standards. Commitment to safety. Clear communication skills. Teamwork and relationship-building abilities.
