The Role We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented ELECTRICAL DESKTOP SUPERVISOR to support the effective administration and compliance management of our Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) division. This role will play a key part in overseeing the management of Dynamics, certification processes, and associated compliance activities, ensuring that documentation is completed accurately and efficiently. Working closely with operational and client-specific supervisors, the Desktop Supervisor will help streamline day-to-day processes, allowing field-based teams to focus on client engagement, inspections, site surveys, and business development opportunities. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining industry compliance standards, including NICEIC requirements, while supporting improvements in operational performance, cash flow, and revenue generation. What You`ll Be Doing: * Managing and maintaining certification records, ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and submitted within required timescales. * Overseeing the use of Dynamics, ensuring jobs, records, and customer information are updated correctly and efficiently. * Monitoring and tracking certification progress to ensure compliance with NICEIC and other relevant industry standards. * Supporting supervisors and operational teams with administrative and compliance-related tasks. * Reviewing completed works documentation and identifying any discrepancies or missing information. * Producing reports and performance data to support operational decision-making. * Liaising with engineers, supervisors, clients, and subcontractors to resolve certification and documentation queries. * Supporting the scheduling and completion of remedial actions arising from inspections and audits. * Maintaining accurate filing systems and audit trails in line with company procedures. * Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce delays, and enhance operational efficiency. * Assisting with contract administration activities to support cash flow and timely invoicing. Key Knowledge: * Preferably have as a minimum two years’ experience of working as an NICIEC qualifying supervisor. * A proven background in a similar role, ideally domestic electrical installations, test & inspecting. * Hold appropriate qualifications to undertake the role such as: o C&G 18th Edition IET Regulations BS7671 o C&G (2394 & 2395) or 2391 Testing and Inspection o C&G 2360 Pt. 1 & Pt. 2, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent o Valid CSCS card o IT Literate About You: * Experience within a construction, housing maintenance, facilities management, or M&E environment. * Experience using Dynamics 365 or similar management systems. * Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. * The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. * Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with a range of stakeholders. * Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. * An understanding of certification processes, compliance requirements, or NICEIC standards would be desirable. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. * A commitment to delivering high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
