This role supports our long-term partnership with Notting Hill Genesis (NHG), one of London's largest housing providers. We deliver reactive, planned and disrepair works across thousands of homes, keeping properties safe, comfortable and well‑maintained, using modern digital systems to keep work flowing smoothly.

We are looking for multiple Electricians covering Enfield, Stratford, Havering, Bromley, Bexley and Southwark area.

Responsibilities

  • Repairs and Maintenance
    • Carry out routine maintenance and servicing of electrical systems and appliances to required standards.
    • Trace, diagnose, and rectify electrical faults, ensuring all systems are left safe, functional, and compliant.
    • Report any faulty appliances or installations that do not meet current regulatory requirements.
    • Replace electrical sockets, fittings, consumer units, and other electrical components as needed.
  • Installations
    • Install smoke alarms, fans, shower units, shower circuits, and other domestic electrical equipment.
    • Ensure all installations meet relevant safety and regulatory standards.
  • Health & Safety
    • Always maintain high Health and Safety standards while on site.
    • Conduct necessary risk assessments before starting work.
    • Assist with Health and Safety inspections and support continuous improvement activities.
    • Work safely at heights, using ladders and scaffolding, and in confined spaces or varied site conditions.
  • Teamwork & Communication
    • Work collaboratively as part of a team and support apprentices and improvers through mentoring and coaching.
    • Communicate effectively with tenants, office staff, and clients to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Compliance & Sustainability
    • Adhere to all regulatory, company, and industry standards in every aspect of work.
    • Support sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with environmental procedures.
    • Contribute to identifying and implementing cost‑saving opportunities.

About You

You're a technically strong, detail-focused electrician with deep knowledge of electrical regulations and a passion for doing things right first time. You take pride in mentoring others, ensuring safety, and maintaining the highest professional standards.

  • 18th Edition with Qualification to support City & Guilds, NCQ Level 3
