The Role We're hiring a handsâon M&A / Corporate Development Associate to help source, assess and execute acquisitionsâand support smooth integrations postâclose. You'll partner with Finance, Operations and the Executive Team, taking opportunities from first conversation through investment approval and value delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct market research to identify potential acquisition opportunities
- Maintain the target pipeline and sector deal tracking
- Work with operational leaders to surface highâpotential M&A targets
- Support initial target assessments and strategic fit
- Build financial models and valuation analyses
- Assist with due-diligence coordination and dayâtoâday deal project management
- Contribute to internal materials from offer stage through Board / Executive updates and final investment approval
- Gather / analyse data for transformational investments across the group
- Create concise case studies of transformation deals in the sector
- Partner with business unit leaders to enable smooth postâmerger integration and early value capture
- Work closely with Finance, Operations and Executive Leadership to align on M&A strategy
- Liaise with external advisors (bankers, consultants, legal) as required
- Degree / Accountancy qualification preferred (ACA / ACCA / CIMA welcome)
- 2â4 years' experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development or private equity
- Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques
- Strong analytical problemâsolver with high attention to detail
- Clear communicator with confident presentation skills; able to influence stakeholders
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fastâpaced, growth environment
