We deliver repairs, planned maintenance, refurbishment, compliance and fire safety, combining local, responsive teams with the scale and stability of a national group.
We’re looking for a skilled and customer-focused Gas Engineer to deliver high-quality servicing, breakdowns, and repairs across our housing maintenance programmes. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to be part of a team delivering essential housing services that make a real difference to residents and communities.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency and reactive gas repair works, diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently.
- Maintain a high first-time fix rate, ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met.
- Complete gas safety checks and compliance inspections in line with current regulations.
- Support void property works, ensuring all gas systems are safe, compliant, and ready for re-let.
- Carry out remedial works and system upgrades where required to maintain service standards.
- Accurately complete PDA/job documentation, ensuring all works are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
About You
- Proven experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer within repairs, maintenance, or voids environments.
- Relevant qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (G3 and LPG/Oil/ASHP desirable).
- Strong customer service and communication skills, able to work sensitively in occupied homes.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads, and manage time effectively.
- Confident using handheld devices (PDA) for job management and reporting.
- Full, clean UK driving licence (we will accept minor motoring convictions).

- £42,000 basic salary (up to £45,000 with additional qualifications) + benefits including:
