CLC, part of Axis CLC, is a national maintenance and refurbishment provider supporting clients across the healthcare, defence, leisure, heritage, commercial and education sectors. We are recruiting several experienced and versatile Multi Trade Operatives to support our long-term partnership with Amey, delivering planned repairs and maintenance to family housing across military facilities in Cottesmore, covering Peterborough, Melton Mowbray and South Nottingham.
In this role, you will carry out a range of maintenance and repair works to ensure homes remain safe, comfortable and well maintained. Using modern digital systems and mobile technology, you will be equipped with everything you need to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service while working efficiently across a varied portfolio of properties.
What You'll Deliver
- Carry out plumbing repairs and minor installations.
- Complete carpentry repairs and basic joinery works.
- Undertake a broad range of general property maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of the wider team.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety, quality and customer service standards.
- Use PDA/mobile technology to manage and update work orders accurately.
- Deliver responsive repair works to occupied and void properties.
- Complete void property repairs and preparation works to ensure properties are ready for re-let.
- Support kitchen and bathroom refurbishment works, including fitting, repair and finishing tasks.
About you
- Experience in a multi-trade maintenance role with strong plumbing and carpentry skills.
- Ability to identify faults and deliver effective repair solutions.
- Good problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working in occupied and void properties.
- Confident using PDA/mobile technology.
- NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
- Additional trade qualifications are advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Able to obtain or already hold DBS and SC clearance.
- Right to work in the UK.
This role involves practical, hands-on work and requires a good level of mobility and manual dexterity. You may at times be required to work at height, in confined spaces or on uneven ground, and to use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
