We are looking for a motivated Assistant Site Supervisor/Trainee Site Manager to support the delivery of planned maintenance and refurbishment projects across our Guinness Partnership and Lewisham Council contracts.
Working closely with the Site Managers and wider project team, you will assist with the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
The role is based from our Stratford office, with regular travel to sites across Lewisham, Kennington and Chelsea to support the successful delivery of works.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Site Managers with daily site operations and coordination of subcontractors.
- Carry out site inspections, progress checks, and assist with quality control.
- Support Health & Safety compliance, including inductions, toolbox talks, and site documentation.
- Maintain accurate records including site diaries, photographs, and QA information.
- Liaise with residents, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams in a professional manner.
- Assist with managing programmes, access arrangements, and resolving site issues.
- Ensure works are delivered in line with company standards and client expectations.
Requirements
- Previous construction experience preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and develop.
- Ability to work within a team and take responsibility for tasks.
- Good IT skills.
- CSCS card desirable.
