The Role
We’re looking for a Plumber Multi-Trade Operative to join our team delivering works across Devon & Cornwall, covering void properties, kitchen and bathroom (K&B) programmes and major repairs. This is a plumbing-led role focused on installation and refurbishment works, where you will also carry out supporting multi-trade activities to ensure jobs are completed to a high standard. Working as part of a wider team, you’ll play a key role in delivering projects safely, efficiently and to specification.
What You’ll Do
- Carry out plumbing works including bathroom and kitchen installations, pipework and hot/cold water systems
- Deliver works across occupied properties and refurbishment projects
- Support kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programmes
- Contribute to major repairs works, completing installations and associated tasks to specification
- Carry out multi-trade works to support completion of projects, including boxing in and minor carpentry repairs
- Work collaboratively with site teams to deliver programmes on time and to quality standards
- Follow health and safety procedures and complete risk assessments on all works
About You
You’re a qualified tradesperson with a strong plumbing background and experience across voids, K&B or major repairs, comfortable working across multiple trades to complete works to a high standard.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Plumbing (or equivalent experience)
- WRAS Approved
- Experience in voids, kitchen and bathroom works or major repairs
- Valid Unvented Hot Water Systems Certificate – Desirable
- Gas Safe Accreditation - Desirable
- Multi-trade capability (tiling, carpentry, plastering, decorating)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong understanding of health & safety
- DBS check (or willingness to undertake)
- Strong Health & Safety awareness and attention to detail
