Axis CLC is looking for a proactive and organised
Purchase Order Clerk to join our Finance team based at our Stratford office.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with administration experience who is looking to develop a career within finance.
As the Purchase Order team continues to grow and evolve, there will be potential for this to move into a supervisory position.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the Purchase Order team by processing orders, liaising with operatives and suppliers, and ensuring purchase orders are raised accurately and efficiently.
Alongside this, you’ll gain valuable exposure to the wider Finance function, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career.
What You’ll Deliver
- Receiving orders by both telephone/E-Mail from operatives and processing accordingly.
- Processing orders electronically onto 3 different systems depending on the operative’s division.
- Taking details of goods required from the operative.
- Confirming Orders raised to operatives and divisional supervisors.
- Raising orders purchased through the operatives purchase cards.
- Filing, photocopying, retrieving copy invoices and any ad hoc duties required by Supervisor.
About You
- Interest in Finance and Accounting.
- Good communication with staff and managers of all levels.
- Previous experience of working in an office environment.
- Good Literacy and Numerical Skills.
- Ability to deal with complex queries over the telephone.
- Able to work in a team and on own initiative.
- Attention to detail.
