Role
As part of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for carrying out end-of-tenancy cleans on MOD properties across Ipswich/Colchester. You will be working across 2 sites.
You will work as part of a team of two, with the ability to work independently when required.
Duties will include general cleaning as well as deep cleaning tasks to ensure properties are returned to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out thorough end-of-tenancy cleans to ensure properties are returned to a high standard.
- Duties include general cleaning such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, wiping down surfaces, and emptying bins.
- You will also complete deep cleaning tasks including oven cleaning, descaling, internal window cleaning, and removing any built-up dirt or residue.
- Ensuring all areas meet required cleanliness standards, following COSHH guidelines, and using cleaning products safely at all times.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am till 4.30pm
- Covering sites: Wattisham, Woodbridge, Wimbish - all other sites are within 45 minutes of Colchester.
About You
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- A strong team player who contributes positively to a collaborative work environment.
- Flexible and reliable, willing to extend working hours when necessary to meet deadlines.
- Domestic cleaning experience is preferred.
- A good understanding of COSHH and safe use of cleaning materials is essential.
