Overview
In this role you will lead AXIS’s talent management and workforce readiness agenda to ensure the organization has the leadership, skills, and capabilities to deliver priorities today and in the future. You’ll establish frameworks and governance for performance, succession, and development, shaping leadership pipelines and workforce decisions. You’ll translate business strategy into talent priorities, assess gaps, and drive targeted investments and actions. This position offers an opportunity to influence strategy, enable growth, and advance a data-driven, collaborative HR agenda.

Responsibilities
- Lead core talent management processes (goal setting, performance management, talent reviews, assessments, succession planning, development planning)
- Establish governance and frameworks to enable high-quality talent decisions and stronger leadership pipelines
- Lead workforce readiness efforts by identifying required leadership, skills, and capabilities
- Assess workforce gaps and determine actions to build, buy, borrow, reskill, redeploy, or automate capabilities
- Identify development needs through performance, talent, succession, assessment, and workforce planning insights
- Partner with Head of Learning to address leadership, skill, and capability gaps through development programs and investments
- Collaborate with business leaders, HR Partners, COO organization, and transformation teams to assess workforce impact of strategy, technology, AI, and operating changes
- Translate changes into recommendations for skills, roles, mobility, succession, and talent investments
- Leverage talent data, workforce intelligence, assessments, and market insights to provide risk-aware, actionable recommendations to senior leaders
- Monitor health and effectiveness of talent and workforce practices and drive continuous improvement
- Lead and develop Talent Operations & HR Business Analyst; manage external partners; drive adoption of practices across HR and the business
- May assume additional duties relevant to the role
