How does this role contribute to our collective success? This role contributes to AXIS' collective success through maintaining and promoting a market leading claims service to support clients' complex risks and challenges and in so doing to support the retention and acquisition of business.
What will you do in this role?
- Handling FI and W&I claims allocated to you, under the supervision of more senior claims handlers.
- Working closely with clients, external legal advisors, market leaders, brokers and TPA service providers ensuring a premier claims service to clients is maintained.
- Engagement with stakeholders, including underwriters, actuaries and operations in relation to claims and management information.
- You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.

What you need to have:
- Educated to Degree level or an equivalent apprenticeship.
- Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint preferable.
- Ability to present information in a clear and concise fashion relevant to the audience.
- Numerate, analytical/solution focused and able to work to a deadline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
- Ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities to tight timelines.
- Effective organisation and planning.

What we prefer you to have:
- 1-3 years' previous experience working within a London market Insurer or broker an advantage but not essential.
Role Factors: In this role, you will typically be required to be in the office 3 days per week.
