An established UK Medtech provider is seeking an Area Business Manager to drive growth across NHS accounts throughout the North West. This role focuses on developing new business while managing and expanding existing Trust relationships across vascular access.

This position suits a commercially driven field sales professional who is comfortable operating in complex NHS environments and engaging a broad range of clinical and procurement stakeholders.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing territory performance across NHS Trusts, community services and integrated care systems, with a strong focus on business growth and account penetration.

  • Growing revenue across existing NHS accounts and identifying new business opportunities
  • Developing relationships with clinicians, procurement, infection prevention and operational teams
  • Driving product evaluations, pathway discussions and clinical adoption
  • Supporting formulary submissions, value analysis committees and standardisation projects
  • Managing tenders, pricing negotiations and local contracts
  • Maintaining accurate CRM reporting, forecasting and territory planning
  • Working closely with clinical specialists to support education, training and conversion

Clinical Areas

You will sell a specialist portfolio across vascular access and infusion therapies, including:

  • PICC lines, Midlines and Peripheral IV devices
  • Central Venous Access Devices (CVADs)
  • Dialysis and renal access-related products
  • Securement, infection prevention and line management solutions
  • Acute, community and home-based infusion pathways

Territory

The role covers the North West of England, including major acute Trusts, community providers and regional healthcare networks. The role is home-based with regular field travel across the territory.

About You

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • 3–5+ years’ field-based sales experience, ideally within FMCG or a non-medical device market
  • Proven track record of consistent sales growth against targets
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence multiple decision-makers
  • Comfortable balancing new business development with the management and growth of existing accounts

Package

Up to Β£45,000 Basic Salary. Β£24,000 uncapped bonus. Car allowance.
