The Opportunity
A well established UK ophthalmology business is expanding its commercial function and is recruiting five Area Sales Managers as part of a new team build. This is an opportunity to join a growing ophthalmology organisation with strong investment, clear structure, and long-term UK growth plans.
The Role
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Driving sales performance across your assigned territory
- Developing relationships with ophthalmologists, theatre teams, and diagnostic departments
- Promoting products into ophthalmic diagnostic and theatre environments
- Managing NHS and private hospital accounts
- Delivering a consultative, clinically credible sales approach
About You
We are looking for candidates with:
- Proven experience in Ophthalmology
- Background selling into:
- Ophthalmic diagnostics or
- Theatre-based ophthalmology environments
Applicants without ophthalmology experience will not be considered.
