The Opportunity

A well established UK ophthalmology business is expanding its commercial function and is recruiting five Area Sales Managers as part of a new team build. This is an opportunity to join a growing ophthalmology organisation with strong investment, clear structure, and long-term UK growth plans.

The Role

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving sales performance across your assigned territory
  • Developing relationships with ophthalmologists, theatre teams, and diagnostic departments
  • Promoting products into ophthalmic diagnostic and theatre environments
  • Managing NHS and private hospital accounts
  • Delivering a consultative, clinically credible sales approach

About You

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Proven experience in Ophthalmology
  • Background selling into ophthalmic diagnostics or theatre-based ophthalmology environments
  • Field-based medical device or healthcare sales experience
  • Strong clinical knowledge and credibility with clinicians

Applicants without ophthalmology experience will not be considered.
