The Acquisitions Unit plays a pivotal role in this journey—managing everything from early-stage assessment and due diligence to seamless integration into IFS.
We’re seeking a Sales Operations Lead to join the leadership team of our M&A organisation. This role is ideal for a operator who thrives in complexity, excels at building scalable systems, and can influence outcomes across a matrixed organization—without relying on formal authority.
- Champion Operational Excellence: Define and implement scalable, repeatable sales operations processes across acquired entities, driving consistency and efficiency in planning, execution, and performance tracking.
- Strategic Partnering: Collaborate closely with Sales, Enablement, and Pricing & Deal Management teams to align on strategy and execution, ensuring seamless integration and optimized go-to-market approaches.
- Coach & Influence: Engage with sales operations teams in acquired companies, providing mentorship, guidance, and best practices to elevate performance and align with IFS standards.
- Data-Driven Approach: Lead sales analytics and compensation strategy, including pipeline forecasting, territory design, quota setting, and commission planning—translating insights into action.
- Enablement & Integration: Drive enablement initiatives including training, positioning, and GTM strategy, ensuring acquired teams are equipped for success within the IFS ecosystem.
- Matrix Collaboration: Influence cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, M&A, Finance, and Product teams to drive adoption of CRM systems, business planning tools, and performance methodologies.
- Performance Insights: Deliver actionable reporting on pipeline health, sales KPIs, and revenue forecasts to inform leadership decisions and drive accountability.
- Project Leadership: Support key initiatives including QBRs, Board presentations, and Sales Kickoffs, ensuring alignment and impact across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proven experience in sales operations within the business software or SaaS industry
- Working independently in a matrixed organization, with the ability to lead through influence rather than authority
- Demonstrated success in designing and scaling operational processes in high-growth environments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into strategic insights
- Exceptional relationship-building skills and a consultative approach to influence across functions and levels
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with a knack for storytelling through data
- Self-starter mindset with a bias for action and the ability to manage competing priorities independently
