We are working on behalf of a well-established, global manufacturer of primary packaging solutions. With in-house manufacturing, product development, and tooling capabilities, our client supplies innovative, safety-focused packaging to businesses worldwide. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Executive to join their commercial team. This is a field role, ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships and driving new business across multiple sectors.
The Role
- Identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities while nurturing existing customer relationships.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders across multiple industries.
- Identifying new business opportunities through market research and market analysis.
- Working closely with senior management to develop and implement strategic business development plans.
- Creating and executing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Attending industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to represent the business.
- Preparing and presenting regular performance and market insight reports to senior leadership.
The Candidate
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development or sales, with a strong emphasis on relationship management.
- Experience within healthcare primary packaging is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle from initial planning through to close.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
