Key Responsibilities
  • The Fire Door Inspector will be responsible for conducting detailed surveys of buildings, identifying potential fire risks, and providing expert recommendations to enhance fire safety measures.
  • Conducting fire door inspections on a mixture of residential buildings and commercial premises across the UK.
  • Liaising with residents and clients whilst on-site.
  • Identifying breaches in fire compartmentation, including fire doors and assessing existing fire safety measures.
  • Keeping abreast of current fire safety regulations and industry best practices.
Key Requirements
  • Relevant experience in fire safety, building surveying, or a related field.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Field based role covering the Central and Greater London area with occasional travel to clients further afield.
  • Prepared and happy to work alone / remote working.
  • Be willing to stay away overnight for jobs where required.
  • DBS Enhanced Check (This will be conducted on induction).
  • FDIS training would be advantageous.
  • CSCS Card would be advantageous.
