Key Responsibilities- The Fire Door Inspector will be responsible for conducting detailed surveys of buildings, identifying potential fire risks, and providing expert recommendations to enhance fire safety measures.
- Conducting fire door inspections on a mixture of residential buildings and commercial premises across the UK.
- Liaising with residents and clients whilst on-site.
- Identifying breaches in fire compartmentation, including fire doors and assessing existing fire safety measures.
- Keeping abreast of current fire safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Relevant experience in fire safety, building surveying, or a related field.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Field based role covering the Central and Greater London area with occasional travel to clients further afield.
- Prepared and happy to work alone / remote working.
- Be willing to stay away overnight for jobs where required.
- DBS Enhanced Check (This will be conducted on induction).
- FDIS training would be advantageous.
- CSCS Card would be advantageous.
