Axiomarise Ltd is recruiting experienced, compassionate Live-in Carers on behalf of our client for placements in people's own homes across different locations in England. You will provide personalised care and companionship, supporting each person's dignity, independence and wellbeing. Start dates, placement lengths and care requirements vary, with extensions possible on some assignments. Support personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting. Prepare meals and support nutrition and hydration.
Provide companionship and assistance with everyday routines. Support medication in accordance with the care plan, your training and assessed competence. Assist with mobility, repositioning and transfers where required, using the specified equipment and support. Work alongside visiting carers and healthcare professionals where included in the care package. Maintain accurate records and promptly report changes or concerns. Previous experience providing personal care. A reliable, patient and respectful approach.
Good communication, observation and record-keeping skills. Ability to follow individual care plans and work responsibly in someone's home. Availability to stay in the person's home for the agreed placement. Ability to provide photo identification and complete the required recruitment checks. An appropriate Enhanced DBS check with an Adults' Barred List check. An active DBS Update Service subscription is essential for placements that specify this requirement.
Existing right to undertake the work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available. You're welcome to apply even if you don't live near the advertised placement. We work with clients across the UK, so send us your location, availability, preferred placement areas, relevant care experience and DBS Update Service status .
