The Role

We are seeking a Talent Recruitment Manager to support the continued growth of Axiom’s legal talent business in London and the broader EMEA region. This is a manager‑level individual contributor role with meaningful autonomy and impact, operating at the intersection of talent strategy, stakeholder advisory, and candidate experience. Through innovative and thoughtful talent acquisition strategies, you will play a critical role in building and sustaining a high‑quality pipeline of legal talent aligned to Axiom’s client demand and long‑term growth plans. This role offers the opportunity to help shape Axiom’s presence in the UK market while working alongside a collaborative, high‑performing global Talent team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executing against Axiom’s legal talent acquisition strategy in the UK, including the identification, assessment, and attraction of high‑calibre legal talent through both traditional and creative sourcing channels.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for lawyer and legal professional candidates, managing the full‑cycle recruitment process while ensuring a positive, transparent, and efficient candidate experience.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders by providing insight into market trends, talent availability, pipeline health, and recruitment progress.
  • Partnering with business and talent leadership to develop customised, strategic hiring plans aligned to client needs and evolving market demand.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long‑term relationships with legal talent and consistently acting as an ambassador for the Axiom brand.
  • Staying current on recruiting trends, competitive dynamics, and developments within the legal industry to continuously inform and refine recruitment strategy.

Qualifications & Experience

Successful candidates will demonstrate alignment with both the role and Axiom’s unique culture. Required qualifications include:

  • 4+ years of professional recruiting experience and/or legal experience, ideally within the legal, professional services, or regulated industries.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and build credibility with senior‑level candidates and stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills and the ability to operate effectively with sophisticated, high‑calibre talent.
  • High attention to detail, paired with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Sound judgment, problem‑solving capability, and confidence operating with a high degree of autonomy.
  • A genuine interest in Axiom’s business model and the evolving legal services landscape.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

Accommodation for Individuals with Disabilities
